Privacy Policy for Leedlime Chrome Extension

1. Data Collection and Storage

The Leedlime Chrome Extension ("the Extension") is designed to help you save and organize leads (posts and comments) from Reddit. To function, the Extension collects and stores the following information:

• Reddit Post/Comment Data: This includes the title, link (URL), content, author, subreddit, and upvote score of the Reddit posts or comments you explicitly choose to save using the Extension.
• Saved Timestamp: The date and time when you saved a particular lead.
• Lead Type: Whether the saved item is a "Post" or "Comment."

All data collected by the Leedlime Extension is stored exclusively on your local device within your Chrome browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local).

2. Data Usage

The data collected is used solely for the following purposes:

• Core Functionality: To allow you to view, manage, search, export, and delete the Reddit leads you have personally saved.
• User Experience: To provide you with a personalized and organized collection of your saved Reddit content.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

The Leedlime Chrome Extension does NOT transmit, share, sell, or disclose your saved data to any third-party servers, services, or individuals, including the Extension's developer. Your data remains entirely on your device.

4. Data Security

Your data is stored within your Chrome browser's local storage, which is protected by Chrome's built-in security measures. As the Extension developer, we do not have access to your locally stored data.

5. Data Retention

Your saved data persists on your device for as long as you have the Leedlime Extension installed and do not manually delete the data. You have full control over your data:

• You can delete individual leads directly within the Extension's side panel.
• You can clear all saved data by uninstalling the Extension or by clearing your browser's local storage for the Extension.
• You can export your data to a CSV or copy as Markdown for your own records.

6. Permissions Used

The Leedlime Extension requests only the minimum necessary permissions to perform its stated functions:

• storage: Required to store your saved leads locally on your device.
• activeTab: Allows the Extension to interact with the currently active tab (e.g., to extract post details) only when the Extension's icon is clicked or the side panel is opened.
• sidePanel: Required to provide the side panel interface for managing your leads.
• host_permissions for *://*.reddit.com/* and *://*.old.reddit.com/*: Necessary to enable the content script to run on Reddit pages to extract lead information.

These permissions are used solely for the described functionalities and not for any other purpose.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the Extension's listing on the Chrome Web Store. We recommend reviewing this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
