Getting Started with Leedlime

Leedlime helps you find high-intent leads on Reddit by monitoring conversations in real-time. This guide will help you set up your first project.

1. Create Your Account

If you haven't already, sign up for a Leedlime account. We offer a $5 one-time pass if you are not ready to commit to a subscription.

2. Define Your Project

A "Project" typically corresponds to a product or service you are selling. You can track multiple projects (e.g., "CRM Tool" and "Email Marketing Tool") separately.

3. Add Keywords

Keywords are the core of Leedlime. We recommend tracking three types:

  • Competitor Names: Track when people mention your rivals (e.g., "Mailchimp", "Salesforce"). These are your hottest leads.
  • Category Terms: Track generic terms with intent (e.g., "email marketing software", "CRM recommendations").
  • Pain Points: Track problems you solve (e.g., "email open rates low", "manage sales leads").
Pro Tip: Use negative keywords to filter out noise. For example, exclude "job", "hiring", "tutorial" to avoid non-lead posts.

4. Set Up Notifications

You can receive alerts via:

  • Email: Daily digest or instant alerts.
  • Slack: Connect your workspace to get pings in a channel.
  • Webhook: Send data to your own API or Zapier.

5. Start Engaging

When you get an alert, click through to the Reddit thread. Remember the golden rule: Be helpful first, sell second.

Use our "Reply Templates" feature to save common responses, but always personalize them to the user's specific question.
