You put in your keywords: “CRM”, “Marketing Tool”, “SaaS”. And then your inbox exploded. 1,000 emails. 99% of them are random discussions, complaints, or memes. The 1% of actual leads are buried in the noise. You ignore the emails. You cancel the subscription. **Tool failed.** ## The Problem: Keywords ≠ Intent Tracking keywords is easy. Knowing _why_ someone used that keyword is hard. If someone posts: > “I hate my CRM, looking for alternatives.” That’s a **lead**. If someone posts: > “Just learned how to build a CRM in Python!” That’s **noise**. Most tools simply find posts with the word “CRM” without understanding the context. ## The Solution: Intent Detection To make Reddit marketing work, you need a filter layer. You need to classify posts by **intent**. ### Types of Intent 1. **Buying Intent:** “Recommend me…”, “Best tool for…”, “Alternative to…” 2. **Problem Intent:** “How do I…”, “Struggling with…”, “Is there a way to…” 3. **Competitor Intent:** Mentions of your rivals (e.g., “Salesforce pricing is crazy”). ### How to Fix Your Workflow #### Option A: Advanced Boolean Search (Hard Way) You can try to string together complex search queries. `("CRM" OR "Customer Relationship Management") AND ("recommend" OR "suggestion" OR "alternative") -("tutorial" OR "job")` This helps, but Reddit’s native search is… not great. #### Option B: Use an Intent-First Tool (Easy Way) Tools like [**Leedlime**](https://leedlime.com) use AI to analyze the context of the post.
